Dusty was our main man at Bullmoose for five
years. He produced six litters and each one was well received. If you liked big
with substance, then you would have been pleased with his offspring. What a
wonderful personality! High Five anyone? Dusty easily made friends for the
breed
At one show we attended, A young couple and their small son came
over to ask questions about the breed. The little boy stood next to Dusty and
the two were the same size in height. Mom asked if bullmastiffs were good with
children. Dusty chose that particular moment to reach over and give the little
boy a sloppy kiss. The mother grinned and said that question was answered. We
went on from there and answered all her questions. Soon it was time to leave.
The couple walked off and went-- say 15 feet away. The little boy turned and
called out, "Goodby, doggie!" Dusty seeing the little boy wave at him lifted his
paw and did his high five in return and continued to wave at the child as long
as the child was waving at him. People were stopping to stare at the two because
they really were an eye-stopping pair.
